Over the last few years Snowdonia has become the UK centre for "Adventure" experiences, all of which can be found within striking distance of the Village.
ZIP WORLD is the big operator but there are others such as the Beacon climbing centre and a whole variety of other organisations offering climbing, abseiling, canyoning, gorge scrambling, kayaking, canoeing and mountain biking. Google "snowdonia adventures" and choose your adventure.
And for many, of course, nothing beats the excitement of creating your own adventure amongst the hills, mountains, lakes and rivers within a few miles of the Marina Village.

ZIP WORLD has the fastest zip line in the world and the longest in Europe at Penrhyn Slate Quarry.

ZIP WORLD at Betws y Coed has a host of forest adventures at its Fforest location. choose from the Fforest Coaster, the UK’s only alpine coaster of its kind, bouncing fun on Treetop Nets or zip line and adventure courses high in the trees on Tree Hoppers or Zip Safari – plus you could try Europe’s highest giant swing, Skyride, if you dare!

The centre is designed, built and used by people that are passionate about climbing, Beacon is the largest indoor climbing centre in North Wales.
Users are aged 5-80+ and the climbing is designed to cater for all levels, from first experience to elite performance.
